Sisterhood
“Sisterhood”
Gouache and Ink on Watercolor Paper
6 x 9
“Sisterhood” is an approach to the idea of feminism and what being a feminist means to me. Feminism is a sisterhood, it is a collective group of people throughout the world that support each other despite race, sexual orientation, gender identity, spirituality, body type, etc. Feminism is a place where we can trust one another and be bare, real, and strong. Sisterhood is defined as: an association, society, or community of womxn linked by a common interest, religion, or trade. Our common interest, religion, and trade is being supportive and raising one another up.
